Nigerian international, Joseph Yobo has been welcomed on board Super Eagles’ as the new assistant coach after being appointed for the role back in February, 2020.
The former captain of of the three-time AFCON winning team recently joined the squad in Austria for the friendly games against Algeria and Tunisia.
The 40-year-old ex-defender while making the announcement through his official social media page, shared a photo of himself posing with manager, Gernot Rohr.
Joseph Yobo wrote; “New Chapter. Super Eagles Head coach Genort Rohr and his Assistant coach.”
Nigeria will face Algeria on Friday, October 9, and Tunisia on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, for friendlies in Austria.
